The Great Wi-Fi Heist

In the small town of Techville, there lived a man named Aslam who was known for his three great loves: chai, free Wi-Fi, and avoiding work at all costs. His biggest struggle in life was that his neighbor, Mr. Sharma, had the fastest Wi-Fi in town but had secured it with an unbreakable password.

For months, Aslam tried every trick in the book. He guessed passwords like Sharma123, ILoveButterChicken, and even NeighborAslamIsCool. Nothing worked. He even tried bribing Mr. Sharma’s cat with fish in hopes it might whisper the password in his ear. No luck.

One day, Aslam had an idea. He disguised himself as a “Wi-Fi Repairman” and knocked on Mr. Sharma’s door.

“Sir, we’ve detected a virus in your router,” Aslam said in his most professional voice. “It’s spreading faster than your uncle’s WhatsApp forwards.”

Sharma, horrified, handed over the router. “Can you fix it?”

Aslam pretended to type furiously, nodded seriously, then asked, “Sir, for verification, what’s your Wi-Fi password?”

Sharma leaned in and whispered, “IHaveNosyNeighbors123.”

Aslam grinned. He had done it! The legendary Wi-Fi was his!

But just as he was about to celebrate, Sharma’s wife, who had been suspicious all along, walked in and squinted at Aslam.

“You’re that guy from next door, aren’t you?” she said, crossing her arms.

Aslam panicked. “Uh… no, ma’am! I’m just—”

“You forgot to change your slippers,” she pointed at his feet.

Aslam looked down. He was still wearing his own blue flip-flops, the same ones he wore every day to the tea stall.

Busted.

Long story short, Mr. Sharma changed his Wi-Fi password again, this time to “NiceTryAslam”, and Aslam was left drinking his chai with the slowest 2G data known to mankind.
