Hadith:

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“A strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than a weak believer, though there is good in both. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not give up.”
(Sahih Muslim)

Real-Life Example:

Ali and Bilal both want to start a business.

  1. Ali works hard, learns new skills, takes calculated risks, and trusts Allah while putting in full effort. Even when he faces setbacks, he keeps going because he believes that effort combined with tawakkul (trust in Allah) leads to success.
  2. Bilal, on the other hand, avoids challenges and fears failure. Instead of working on his skills or seeking opportunities, he says, “If Allah wants, success will come,” but he doesn’t take action.

The Hadith teaches that faith should be paired with effort and determination. Whether it’s in work, studies, fitness, or personal growth, a believer should strive to be physically, mentally, and spiritually strong while always relying on Allah.
