The Day the Algorithm Sneezed: A Strange Comic Story About Glitches, Ghosts, and One Suspicious Sandwich

Chapter 1: The Notification That Wasn’t Meant to Exist

At exactly 03:33 AM, Zibble Q. Marmalade received a notification on his phone.
Not unusual.
Except…

It read:
“You have been remembered by something that does not exist.”

Zibble blinked.
His goldfish, Sir Bubbleton IV, blinked back.

“Did you remember me?” Zibble asked.
The fish rotated slowly like a confused Wi-Fi signal.

That’s when the fridge started humming in Morse code.

Chapter 2: The Sandwich That Knew Too Much

Inside the fridge sat a sandwich.
Not just any sandwich.

Its name tag read:
“Property of Professor Snorkelstein.”

Zibble had never met a Professor Snorkelstein.
But the sandwich whispered:

“You refreshed your life too many times.”

Zibble dropped it.
The sandwich sighed dramatically.

“Rude,” it muttered, adjusting its lettuce like a tiny tie.

Somewhere in the distance, a printer printed a single page:
“Reality.exe has stopped responding.”

Chapter 3: Enter Glorbnak the Mildly Concerned

The ceiling fan reversed direction.
Gravity politely left the room.

Then he appeared.

Glorbnak the Mildly Concerned.
An interdimensional auditor wearing slippers and holding a clipboard labeled:
“Existence Quality Check – Version 7.2”

“Hello,” Glorbnak said calmly.
“You have triggered a narrative anomaly by overthinking at 2 AM.”

Zibble gasped.
Sir Bubbleton IV performed a slow philosophical spin.

Chapter 4: The Comic Trial of Unnecessary Thoughts

Suddenly, the room transformed into a courtroom.
Judge: Lady Pixelina von Buffer
Lawyer: Mr. Lagbert McDelay
Witness: The Sandwich (still offended)

Charge:

“Excessive existential scrolling and curiosity about things that do not concern the plot.”

Zibble defended himself:
“I was just thinking…”

The judge slammed her gavel.
“Thinking leads to glitches.”

The walls turned into comic panels.
Speech bubbles floated freely.
One bubble whispered:
“What if the reader is part of the story?”

Chapter 5: The Glitch That Looked Like You

Glorbnak opened a portal shaped like a loading circle.

Inside it…
Zibble saw someone reading this exact story.

Scrolling.
Pausing.
Thinking.

The sandwich leaned closer and whispered:

“Strange stories only exist when someone curious reads them.”

The goldfish finally spoke.
“Yes. That includes you.”

Everything froze.
The notification appeared again:

“Story awareness detected. Narrative loop initiated.”

Final Panel: The Quiet Joke of the Universe

The fridge stopped humming.
The portal closed.
Glorbnak checked his clipboard.

“Case closed,” he said softly.
“Just another human who opened a random strange story… and accidentally became part of it.”

Sir Bubbleton IV winked.

And the sandwich?
It finally relaxed.

Because the algorithm didn’t sneeze by accident.

It sneezed…
so you would find this story.
