Autocorrect Has Entered the Chat
I have accepted that Autocorrect is not trying to help me. It is trying to ruin my life, one message at a time.
Recent Crimes
- Changed “on my way” to “on my wife”
- Turned “see you soon” into “see you spoon”
- Sent “I love you” to my boss instead of my mom
- Corrected a perfectly good sentence into something that got me removed from a group chat
When I turned Autocorrect off, it somehow turned itself back on and sent “I miss you” to my landlord.
We are now in a cold war. I type carefully. It waits. The group chat is just collateral damage.
